Dr. Vini Joseph's Dentistry is seeking a Part-time Dental Hygienist to work 2-3 times a week. *Preferred: Saturdays, Wednesdays* and *Fridays* Working hours from Monday to Friday: 12PM to 7PM Saturday and Sunday Works hours are from 10AM to 3PM. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Completes periodontal assessments and determines the periodontal health status of clients. * Based on assessment, plans appropriate periodontal treatment for clients. * Adheres to infection control standards and universal precautions at all times. * Maintains communication with team member with regard to pertinent perio-clinical findings to attain the best results for clients. * Provides clinical dental preventative services including: scaling, polishing, topical fluoride application, pit and fissure sealant placement, root planning and individual oral hygiene instruction. Takes x-rays as required. *Actively participate in oral health promotion and educational initiatives* *QUALIFICATIONS:* Registered in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario Minimum of one Year clinical experience is required, New Grad are welcome too.
