This is a permanent position. Relocation to Thompson is required. As a Metallurgist you will provide accurate data & analysis to meet the commitments established for the role. Your experience and skills in plant and lab scale investigations of process changes and improvements within the Thompson Concentrator Technical Services Team will contribute to the success of the operations in being a safe and reliable producer. Additionally, in this position you will:Demonstrate an obsession with safety and risk management and meet the requirements of all applicable safety plans.Monitor metallurgical processes, equipment, and product quality and suggest improvements to test procedures.Investigate process equipment control problems, evaluate unit operations and metallurgy and recommend action to maintain efficient operation.Ensure accurate and thorough investigation and data analyses.
