<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>We currently have an opening for a <strong>road technician</strong> for the Lower Mainland.</p><p>As one of our mobile specialists you will enjoy the use of your own fully stocked service vehicle, full dealership support including a fully stocked parts department, and up to date Manufacturer's training on the latest technology and product lines.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>The successful applicants will be an integral part of our service team, maintaining and repairing a variety of customer machinery, as well as our own rental and sales equipment in the field.</li><li>We specialize in both electric and IC forklifts but also work on dock plates, scissor lifts, man lifts, sweeper scrubbers and electric powered units of all kinds.</li><li>The duties of this position will be varied and diverse, as you will be working on a variety of equipment that changes every day.</li><li>We sell and service LPG, Diesel, gasoline and electric-powered forklifts so experience with these types of machines is an asset.</li><li>We are also a leader in lithium-ion lift trucks, and you will be fully trained in this emerging technology as we grow in that exciting new market.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>The ability to assess, diagnose and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to material handling equipment is required.</li><li>Previous forklift experience is of course an asset, as well as familiarity with hydraulic systems and electronic troubleshooting.</li><li>A keen mechanical aptitude and a passion for learning will be valuable skills to help you grow in this position, as well as the ability to always represent our Company in a courteous and professional manner.</li><li>You will be required to prepare legible work orders, communicate with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, order parts for service jobs, and you will work with dispatch to maximize your productivity on the road.</li><li>A valid driver's license is required for this position.</li></ul><p><strong>Full benefits package with:</strong></p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Relocation assistance</li><li>RRSP match</li><li>Vision care</li></ul></div></div>- LocationCoquitlam, BC
