*Duties and Responsibilities * * Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components * Coach and instruct apprentices * Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices * Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system * Interpret gas codes * Handle, recover and store refrigerants * Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems * Install new equipment per manufacturer?s instructions * Maintain quality of service/installation work to the highest industry standards *Licensing and Certification:* * Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate * Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate * Transport Refrigeration Mechanic Trade Certification * Occupational Health and Safety Certificate * Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 1 or A *Qualifications:* · Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a licensed 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic · Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and cooling/heating principles. · Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment used in maintenance and repair. · Knowledge of safety protocols and local building codes. · Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. · Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems. · Comfort working in varied conditions (e.g., outdoor sites, confined spaces). · Ability to lift heavy tools and equipment. *Job Type:* Full-time *Pay: *We offer competitive pay based on experience. *Expected hours:* No less than 40 per week *Benefits:* · Company car and Gas card · Company uniforms · Extended health care · Life insurance · Dental Care · Vision Care · RRSP match · Paid statutory holidays · Wellness program *Schedule:* · Monday to Friday · Morning shift · Weekends as needed If you're ready to join a dynamic team and take your career to the next level, we can't wait to hear from you.
