With a focus on comprehensive cardiac services, we see a large number of outpatient encounters annually, providing diagnostic testing, consultations, and treatment across multiple locations.
We are seeking a *highly skilled, CCU/Telemetry-trained Cardiology Nurse* to work closely with our cardiologists, Drs. Dhssraj Singh and Roland Mikhail, in managing patient care and streamlining clinic operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, patient-centered team and contribute to advancing cardiovascular health in Windsor and beyond.
*Responsibilities*
* Collaborate directly with physicians to evaluate and manage patients in clinic settings.
* Conduct initial patient assessments, including history-taking, symptom analysis, and medication review.
* Prepare detailed patient notes and present concise updates to physicians prior to consultations.
* Support the implementation of care plans, including medication adjustments and lifestyle counseling.
* Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide new team members and maintain high standards of care.
* Participate in patient education, ensuring clear understanding of conditions and treatments.
* Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
* Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
*Qualifications*
* *Licensure:* Active RN license in Ontario (or eligibility for registration).
* *Experience:* Minimum 2 years of experience in a CCU, telemetry unit, or cardiology-focused setting.
* *Skills:*
* Proficiency in cardiac diagnostics and telemetry monitoring.
* Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Efficient use of time
* Open to constantly evolving innovative practice solutions and rapid adaptation of new technology.
* *Technical Proficiency:* Familiarity with EMR systems. Strong computer skills.
