*Company description* We are a team of speech-language pathologists based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. Our aim is to work with people to improve their ability to communicate. We use a client-centred approach, and we work with a broad range of age groups, from children to young adults. We are a firm believer in using evidence-based therapy techniques and engaging in real-life activities to foster language development. *Job description* Social Dynamics offers speech and language services and we are looking for a speech-language pathologist to join our team (start date is negotiable). We work with individuals to improve their ability to communicate and engage with the world around them. We use a client-centered approach and work with clients ranging in age from preschoolers to young adults. We use evidence-based therapy techniques and engage clients in real-life activities to foster language development. We provide therapy in-person and via teletherapy through our community-based private practice. For more information about us see: http://www.social-dynamics.ca *Duties include:* We are seeking a self-motivated speech-language pathologist consultant to work with pediatric, adolescent, and young adults in providing the following services: · speech and language assessments; · social communication assessments; · one-on-one individual therapy; · teletherapy; and · small group sessions Preference will be given to candidates who also have experience in social communication and executive functioning as well as working with individuals who have autism and ADHD. Experience running small group sessions would also be a benefit. Services will be provided in clients? schools, homes or via teletherapy. Candidates are encouraged to apply even if they are currently employed and are looking to supplement their income with additional clients. *Qualifications*: · Master?s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required) · Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC ?
