Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Non-smoking. Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Rural area. Tasks: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk. Change non-sterile dressings. Feed or assist in feeding. Launder clothing and household linens. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Provide companionship. Provide personal care. Shop for food and household supplies. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Personal Support Worker Certificate. Target audience: Persons with an intellectual disability. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Reference required. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Weight handling: Between 61 and 80 kg (133-176 lbs).
