We value professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>To be considered for a position with Alltron Systems, applicants must meet the following qualifications:</p><ul><li>CFAA registered</li><li>Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record</li><li>Flexibility to travel throughout the Edmonton and surrounding areas</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment</li><li>Experience in fire alarm system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints</li><li>Strong electrical knowledge and ability to work with power tools</li><li>Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including NFPA regulations</li><li>Certification in fire alarm technology or equivalent experience is preferred</li><li>Programming experience with fire alarm panels is an asset</li><li>Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and possess a strong work ethic</li></ul><p><strong>Duties</strong>:</p><ul><li>Install, program, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, local codes, and regulations.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and in compliance with standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning fire alarm equipment, including detectors, control panels, annunciators, and communication devices.</li><li>Document all work performed, including inspections, tests, maintenance, and repairs, accurately and thoroughly.</li><li>Provide technical support and assistance to customers and other team members as needed.</li><li>Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and changes in regulations related to fire alarm systems.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of installations and projects.</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Salary: $25.00-$55.00 per hour</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Company car</li><li>Company events</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>RRSP match</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>On call</li><li>Overtime</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong>:</p><ul><li>alarm technician experience required</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span class="long-word">Licence/Certification:</span></strong></p><ul><li>Driving Licence (required)</li><li>Certification in fire alarm technology (preferred)</li></ul><p> </p></div></div>
