We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Retirement Home/Long Term Care Home Cooking experience is required. Duties: - Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards - Ensure food quality and presentation meet set standards - Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed - Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area - Follow proper food handling procedures and safety regulations - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements: - Proven experience working in a Retirement Home/Long Term Care Home kitchen environment with Canadian Food. - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and health regulations - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities *Must be able to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Check prior to starting first shift* *Must be able to obtain a Negative TB test prior to starting first shift* *Applicants with proven experience working in a Retirement Home or Long Term Care home in Canada; will only be selected for the position* If you have a passion for cooking and are looking to be part of a dynamic team, we welcome your application.
