Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Tasks Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal Determine weldability of materials Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment Welding experience Welding techniques Boilers TIG MIG Gas tungsten ARC (GTAW) (TIG) Equipment and machinery experience Welding High pressure boilers Area of specialization Factory assembly Tanks Stainless steel welding Screening questions Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?
