Job details
The welder, under the supervision of his team leader, welds and assembles steel and aluminum equipment Tasks and responsibilities: Weld using the semi-automatic process using operational procedures while respecting the required quality standard; Perform uniform welds of variable lengths; Perform welds in three different positions (flat, horizontal and downward); Check the appearance of the weld bead and the absence of porosity; Organize the time allocated to welding in order to optimize productivity; Handle filler products, bins, tools and equipment carefully and safely with the help of the overhead crane; Maintain your work area safe and clean; Perform all other tasks inherent to the position. Required skills: Knowledge and mastery of the semi-automatic process; Good manual dexterity; Precise and rapid manual-visual coordination; Good perception of shapes to detect slight- LocationMontréal, QC
