About the PositionSupervise the safe and efficient operation of the milling department. Adjust, maintain and repair all milling equipment in accordance with ADM Operational Milling Standards. Train and develop milling staff. Optimize mill yields, moistures, capacity and product quality. Maintain records & reports in accordance with established ADM policies and procedures. Assist in other departments as business needs arise. Follow the Management Operating System to achieve established goals for all production related parameters. Directly responsible to the Mill Superintendent - functionally responsible to the Plant Manager. Direct reports: 3 direct hourly and all other hourly employees at the Plant (when on 2nd or 3rd shift) report to this position. The Shift Millers are responsible for Supervising the Milling Department and associated functions that receive, store, clean and convert raw material to finished bulk and bagged products.
