THIS POSTING IS OPEN TO CANDIDATES WHO ARENOT ON THE WRDSB OCCASIONAL TEACHER ROSTER. IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ON THE WRDSB OCCASIONAL TEACHER ROSTER, PLEASE APPLY TO THE INTERNAL POSTING. As per Article L26.03, D (1) of the WRDSB ETFO Local Collective Agreement; all openings occurringthroughout the school year will be posted with one (1) follow-up posting as a result of a Teacher transfer resulting from the original posting. This contract opening is the result of a subsequent transfer, and as such, WRDSB ETFO contract teachers are not eligible to apply to this posting. FSL PART 1 QUALIFICATION REQUIRED AS WELL AS DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO DELIVER AND ASSESS PROGRAM CURRICULUM IN FRENCH SPECIAL EDUCATION PART 1 QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED All Teachers hired to teach French Core or French Immersion in any FTE, will be assigned to teach French for a minimum of five (5) years before they may apply to a posting for a non French assignment or be considered for a Voluntary Transfer. Candidates that apply to this posting who are not qualified will have their names removed prior to the posting being released to the Principal. PLEASE NOTE - your qualifications must becurrentas of the date of this posting, ie, if you are currently enrolled in the course or if you are in the midst of the course, you are NOT eligible to apply to this posting. Candidates who are qualified and interested may apply to this vacancy.The Human Resources Department will forward all ELIGIBLE applications to the Principal (see above). The Principal of the school will screen applications and may select those he/she wishes to consider from the qualified applicants. Neither Human Resources nor the Principal will necessarily respond to each applicant. As a condition of employment you are required to submit a Criminal Record Check (CRC) including thevulnerable sectorthat is acceptable to the board. Human Resources must bein receipt of the original CRC before your employment can begin. Please note that the Board does not assume any costs associated with the Criminal Record Check.
