Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Clean and maintain work space. Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Installation specialization: Vinyl or resilient tiles. Hardwood strip flooring.
