*Job Title: Tile Installer * *Location:* Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada *Job Type:* Full-Time / Permanent *Salary:* Competitive, based on experience *Job Summary: *We are seeking an experienced Tile Installer to join our growing team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of hands-on experience in tile installation and be well-versed in all aspects of the trade, including preparation, layout, and finishing. As a Tile Installer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of work in both residential and commercial projects. If you are reliable, skilled, and have a passion for delivering quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you! *Key Responsibilities:* ? Measure and prepare surfaces for tile installation, ensuring proper layout and alignment. ? Cut, lay, and install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to specifications. ? Apply grout, sealants, and other finishing materials to complete tile installation. ? Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards, adhering to industry regulations and client specifications. ? Work with a variety of materials, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other types of tiles. ? Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including managing tools and equipment. ? Communicate with supervisors and clients to discuss project requirements and timelines. ? Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise. *Qualifications:* ? Minimum of 1 year of experience in tile installation. ? Must be based in or around Halifax, Nova Scotia. ? Strong knowledge of tile materials, tools, and installation techniques. ? Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work from detailed instructions. ? Good understanding of building codes and safety regulations. ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ? Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. ? Good communication skills and a professional attitude. ? Reliable transportation to job sites. *Preferred Qualifications:* ? Experience with both residential and commercial tile installations. ? Certification or training in tile installation or related fields (an asset). *Why Join Us? * ?
