*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department by managing various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and assisting with accounts receivable processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. Preference given to those with experience using BQE. *Responsibilities* * Assist with accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. * Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date financial records. * Support budgeting activities by providing necessary documentation and analysis. * Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. * Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. * Maintain organized files for all financial transactions, ensuring easy access for audits or reviews. * Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as needed. *Experience* * Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred, with a focus on accounts receivable. * Proficiency in accounting software such as BQE, QuickBooks, or ADP is highly desirable. * Strong skills in account analysis and clerical duties are essential. * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines. * Strong ENGLISH communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively within the team and with customers if/as required.
