*Overview* Mental Wellness is a multidisciplinary counseling practice with a team of health care professionals that includes psychiatrics, psychologist, addictions worker, registered nurse, general practitioner, etc. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are looking for a Mental Health Nurse for Monday-Friday 5pm on. I am also needing weekends. If this is something your schedule can accommodate, then I ask you to apply! *Responsibilities* * Assess and monitor patients' mental health status and physical well-being. * Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. * Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects. * Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records. * Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies. * Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed for diagnostic testing. * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills. *Experience* * Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health care. * Proven ability to provide patient care in acute care settings, nursing homes, or hospitals. * Strong skills in medication administration and adherence to safety protocols. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
