Our client, a renowned engineering consulting firm based in Montreal for over 25 years, is looking for a talented electrical engineer to join its expanding team, following the acquisition of new projects. This position offers the possibility of working remotely or in person, depending on your preferences. </span><span> </span></p> <p><span>This is for prestigious projects in the commercial sector, 180-unit apartment buildings, and state-owned companies.</span><span> <br /></span><span> </span><span> <br /></span><span> </span><b><span>Tasks:</span></b><span> </span><span> </span></p> <ul> <li><span>Take care of project management, document design engineering, plans, specifications, addenda required for the completion of building projects, medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems, motor controls and protections, fire alarms, generators, ASSC and lighting systems, in compliance with established standards and in coordination with other disciplines; data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335551550":6,"335551620":6,&q uot;335559685":714,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559991":357}"> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Participate in service offerings with customers;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Determine construction costs and quantities according to standard methods and the plans and specifications established; </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Supervise and/or carry out site surveys </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Supervise and/or write work status reports and contribute to the development of action plans including the management of contractors' extras; </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Proceed to review shop drawings and production documents end of work; </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Identify, analyze and validate customer needs; </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Ensure the conformity of the work carried out. </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <p><span> </span><span> </span></p> <p><b><span>Ideal candidate:</span></b><span> </span>< span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"3355515 50":6,"335551620":6,"335559738":0,"335559739":120}"> </p> <ul> <li><span>BAC in electrical engineering;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the field of building electrical consulting engineering;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Experience in medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems, controls and motor protections, fire alarms, generators, ASSC and lighting systems;</span><span> </span>< /li> </li></ul> <ul> <li><span>Experience in projects commercial, residential or data center;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Good knowledge of current codes and standards, including the Canadian Code of electricity and the National Building Code; </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Proficiency in spoken and written French, bilingualism a trump;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Have the ASP certificate construction;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Good knowledge of the Office suite;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Knowledge of Autocad;</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Knowledge of Revit, ETAP and AGI32 (an asset);</span><span> </span></li> </ul> <ul> <li><span>Have a driving license. </span><span> </span></li> </ul> <p><span> </span><span> </span></p> <p><b><span>Personality sought:</span></b><span> </span>< span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"3355597- LocationMontréal, QC
