Tankwise Inc. is a heavy equipment repair shop located in Guelph, ON. While we provide both truck and trailer servicing, our primary focus is on trailer inspections and repairs. We like self starters who are motivated and have a positive attitude. *Overview* We are seeking certified 310T or 310J mechanic to join our growing team. The position is day shift working 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position provides opportunity for advancement into the shop foreman role. We are looking for an individual who is willing to train inhouse to become a tank inspector as well. *Duties* * Perform safety's and servicing on our customers fleet * Part tracking and entering on repair orders * Train to become a registered tank inspector (B620) * Communicate with customers on status of repairs/scheduling * Maintain a safe, clean, productive work area * Other various duties as required *Qualifications* * Minimum 3 years experience working as a heavy truck or trailer technician * Must own their own tools/toolbox * Ability to lift heavy objects (Ie. tires) * Strong mechanical aptitude * AZ license would be a strong asset (we provide shunting services for our customers) or willingness to obtain license * Experience with welding is an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: * 310T or 310J (required) Work Location: In person- LocationGuelph, ON
