Rapid Response Industrial Group specializes in environmental response, waste management, and spill containment services. Our team is dedicated to delivering expert support in emergency situations and routine hazardous materials handling. We are looking for a skilled and certified professional to join us as a Team Lead for our group. *Position Summary*: The Team Lead Role will play a critical role in leading and executing various environmental response functions, with a focus on Hazmat response, emergency spill response, and waste management. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and adherence to strict health and safety protocols. *Key Responsibilities:* -Hazmat and Emergency Spill Response Lead and participate in Hazmat and emergency spill response operations, ensuring quick, safe, and effective containment and cleanup of hazardous materials. Coordinate with the team to follow established protocols and utilize specialized equipment to manage incidents with precision and care. -Leadership and Team Management: Serve as the team leader by providing guidance, support, and direction to team members in field operations and shop duties. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, encourage adherence to safety protocols, and support continuous skill development within the team. Act as a point of contact between the team and management, addressing issues and providing regular feedback to improve performance. -Client Interaction: Engage professionally with clients during response operations, clearly explaining processes and addressing any concerns they may have. Build strong relationships with clients by demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented approach to all interactions. -Accurate Project Documentation: Complete and submit detailed and accurate project work documentation, including work orders, manifests, and reports. Ensure that all records are maintained in compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. -Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, including company-specific and client-specific guidelines. Conduct regular safety checks, enforce best practices in the field and shop, and promote a safety-first culture across all operations. -Shop Support Duties: Assist with shop-related responsibilities, including company fleet maintenance, equipment checks, and inventory restock. Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked shop environment to ensure readiness for response operations. -Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional tasks as directed to support team and company objectives, including special projects or assignments as needed. Relevant Qualifications: Relevant certifications in hazardous materials handling, emergency response, or similar fields. - NFPA Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations (REQUIRED) -NFPA Hazmat Technician -Railcar Specialist -Transportation Specialist -Prior experience in environmental response, waste management, or emergency response. -Strong leadership and team management abilities. -Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed, safe decisions quickly. -Proficiency in completing and managing project documentation accurately and efficiently. -Commitment to health and safety standards.
