*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care by assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and have experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting. This position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy and enhancing patient experiences. *Responsibilities* * Receive prescriptions and prescription refill requests * Input all patient and prescription information into computer * Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements * Blister Packing medications accurately * Drug Ordering and receiving * Assist with other pharmacy operations as required * Refer to the pharmacist all clinical inquiries *Qualifications* * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset * High School Diploma * Diploma for Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently. * Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and staff. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism at all times. * Problem Solving Skills is a must Join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant where you can make a significant impact on patient care.
