<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. is seeking 2 <strong>*permanent full-time*</strong>(minimum of 40 - 50 hours per week) experienced <strong>SENIOR LEVEL </strong>welders to start as soon as possible. We have openings on steady days and steady afternoons shift. Southwestern Manufacturing typically operates on rotating shifts of days and afternoons.</p><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>A minimum of 5 years' experience</li><li>Experience in UT Welding Required</li><li>English language</li><li>Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent</li><li><strong>Extensive knowledge of welding techniques, including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), and multi-pass welding</strong></li><li>Able to stand for extended periods work within a fast-paced environment and have an attention for detail to ensure tight deadlines are met</li><li>Steel-toed safety boots; welding helmet and gloves</li><li>Current welding certification ***</li><li>CWB Weld Supervisor certification is an asset</li></ul><p><strong>Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes</li><li>Interpret welding process specifications</li><li>Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment</li><li>Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment</li><li>Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products</li><li>Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications</li></ul><p><strong>We offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Overtime after 40 hours per week</li><li>A comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance and pension plan</li><li>Opportunity to be part of a growing, diverse team</li></ul><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Extended health care</li><li>Vision care</li><li>Dental care</li><li>Company pension</li></ul><p><em>Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
