*Millwright*
*JOB SUMMARY:*
Reporting to our Millwright Coordinator, our Millwrights are responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment by interpreting drawings, performing layouts and assembling parts.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Must follow safe work practices, know and comply with all regulations, report an injury or illness immediately, report unsafe acts and/or conditions.
* Repair, troubleshoot and maintain equipment in the plant (pumps, controls, flow circuits, product and component selection)
* Perform mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding duties.
* Adhere to documented work procedures set out for the activities being performed
* Communicate any problems, materials required, safety or quality concerns to Millwright Coordinator in a timely manner.
* Perform 6S (housekeeping) as directed by Millwright Coordinator.
* Follow through with instructions from Service Shift Leader or Millwright Coordinator and perform other duties as assigned by the Millwright Coordinator.
* Complete required paperwork (e.g. time sheets, work orders, PM?s, etc.).
* Act as a resource to department staff.
* Work effectively within plant personnel towards development and execution of material handling, equipment and process improvements
*SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS:*
· Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education.
· Licensed Millwright/433 A
· Minimum 5 year trade experience preferred.
· Licensed golf cart and scissor lift operator an asset.
· Flexibility handling tools and equipment.
· Ability to work well independently and as a part of team.
· Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
· Good technical skills.
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
