Job Type: *Full-time* or *Part-time *- Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Brant Form Teck Ltd is a custom metal fabrication facility, serving the mining, rail, and other off-road vehicle industries. Based in Woodstock Ontario, businesses from all across North America have become satisfied customers. Brant Form Teck Ltd. has a great opportunity for a hardworking and motivated *Painter*. You can contribute to the further success of the company with your precision and accuracy to help produce high quality products for our customers. The successful candidate will prepare and paint completed metal parts prior to shipping to customer. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* * Prepare fabricated metal part for painting by using scraper/chisel/cloth etc. to remove debris. * Engrave part with part number using manual metal engraver. * Hang parts on rack and prepare surface by using hose to apply presoak, rinse and final rinse. * Paint surface according to job specifications; selecting and mixing appropriate paint components, using pressure feed or electrostatic painting process. * Operation of curing oven to dry parts. * Ensure quality by achieving desired paint thickness and avoiding imperfections. * Conduct inspection on own, and as Buddy Inspect on others?, completed work. * Input job status updates into JobBoss software. * Monitor inventory of painting supplies and recommend ordering when required. * Perform daily maintenance tasks such as cleaning hoses * Perform all tasks in accordance with Quality (ISO) manual. * Conform to all health and safety standards and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. * Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the production floor and assist others as required. * Other duties as assigned. *The ideal candidate will possess:* * Completion of Grade 12. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Must have ability to tolerate wearing an air-purifying respirator frequently, for up to 30 minutes continuously. * Ability to use basic measuring devices (square, calipers, verniers, measuring tape) *Other skills and abilities required:* * Organizational skills * Detailed oriented * Ability to prioritize workload * Time management skills * Ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy We offer excellent group health and dental insurance, disability benefits, life insurance + AD&D, employee assistance programs and continuing education (including apprenticeships) are paid for. *Join our team!* Visit our website at http://bfteck.com/ We thank all candidates for their interest, however, we will only communicate with those that are selected for an interview. _Brant Form Teck Ltd. accommodates the needs of applicants throughout the recruitment process in accordance with the (AODA) and Human Rights legislation.
