Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Private company, corporation or industry. Tasks: Adapt existing illustrations. Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive and digital products and television advertising and productions. Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations. Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication. Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements. Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides. Set type for printing. Transform digitized images using retouching systems, graphic palettes or specialized software. Design and layout pages. Produce computerized images and drawings. Digitize images using peripherals and transform them using retouching systems, graphic palettes or specialized software. Perform the layout, page make-up and placement using the conceptual mock-ups provided. Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Photoshop. Type of production art: Forms. Corporate identity. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Sitting. Personal suitability: Creativity.
