*General Information:* Hitachi Energy is seeking an instructional designer. This role is new to the organization and responsible for analyzing and designing training. Through collaboration with functional leaders and subject matter experts, this position will assist in the creation of training programs. The ideal candidate has expertise in adult learning methodologies, active learning strategies, and training analysis. *Responsibilities:* * Lead the design of training programs for the site. * Track and review training effectiveness measures (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes. * Collaborate in maintaining a learning management system to track, monitor, and measure effectiveness of training. * Work with subject matter experts to produce effective training materials utilizing adult learning methodologies. * Collaborate in developing the capabilities of subject matter experts in delivering effective training. * Actively engage in benchmarking and sharing of best practices within the organization. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor?s degree in Training & Development, or equivalent. * 6+ years of relevant experience in analyzing, designing, and evaluating training. * Experience working with subject matter experts in analyzing jobs and designing applicable training aligned with adult learning strategies. * Experience working in a fast paced, continually changing, manufacturing/industrial environment is a plus. * Bilingual in both French and English is a must. * Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada. *Only selected applicants will be contacted. * Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Company pension * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care * Wellness program Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Education: * Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience: * analyzing, designing, and evaluating training.: 6 years (required) Language: * French (required) * English (required) Work Location: In person- LocationVarennes, QC
