*Job Overview* Boss Security Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems in various environments. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage systems, computer networking, and electrical components. The CCTV Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their security needs are met effectively and efficiently. *Duties* * Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, and related equipment according to specifications. * Conduct routine maintenance checks on existing systems to ensure optimal performance. * Troubleshoot and repair any issues with CCTV systems, including wiring and connectivity problems. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine installation requirements. * Utilize power tools safely and effectively during installation processes. * Collaborate with team members to build comprehensive security solutions tailored to client needs. * Document all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities for future reference. * Provide technical support to clients via telecommunication methods as needed. *Requirements* * Proven experience in installing and maintaining low voltage systems, particularly CCTV technology. * Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems. * Strong knowledge of computer networking principles as they relate to security systems. * Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to CCTV installations. * Ability to detect issues quickly and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. * Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions and teamwork. * Experience with power tools is essential for installation tasks. * A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
