*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring that all housekeeping staff adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and industrial cleaning, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service. *Duties* Assist with scheduling and room assignments to ensure proper coverage. Monitor performance and recommend disciplinary action in accordance with company rules and policies. Alert management of potentially serious issues. Ensure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties. Inspect all assigned areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction. Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct on corrective action. Provide adequate retraining as needed. Inspect storage rooms and room attendant carts for neatness, cleanliness, adequate supplies, and good repair. Respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction. Control expenses and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping. Complete all paperwork and closing duties such as filling out supply requisitions, maintenance request forms, and updating logbooks, etc. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. May perform all housekeeping duties necessary including makings beds and vacuuming and cleaning guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction. Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures. May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects. Refer to attached additional job responsibilities and Health & Safety duties and responsibility Assist with other duties as assigned. *Experience* Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or hotel environments is preferred. 1 or 2 Yrs of Housekeeping Experience in Hotel / Resort Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Accountable and resilient Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service Ability to work under pressure Excellent grooming standards Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations Ability to work on your own and as part of a team Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and or pulling approximately 100 pounds Frequently standing up and moving about the facility Remain stationary for extended periods of time Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 44 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Schedule: * Day shift * Every Weekend Experience: * Cleaning: 2 years (preferred) * Hotel: 3 years (required) Language: * English (preferred) Work Location: In person
