*Make a difference with the Canadian Armed Forces Naval Reserve in Newfoundland.* This position is available for part-time employment with the Primary Reserve at HMCS CABOT in St John's NL. Reserve Force members usually serve part time at a UNIT near their community, and may serve while going to school or working at a civilian job. They are paid during their training. They are not posted or required to do a military move. However, they can volunteer to move to another base. They may also volunteer for deployment on a military mission within or outside Canada.
*A Career with the Reserves.* As a reservist, the choice to go is always voluntary. The main role of the Reserve Force is to support the Regular Force at home and abroad. The following Non-Commissioned Members position is available for part-time employment in the Canadian Armed Forces Naval Reserve Force. * be a Canadian Citizen
* be 16 years of age or older (with parental or guardian consent if under 18)
* meet Canadian Armed Forces medical standards
* Completed grade 11
* successfully complete selection process, interview and examinations
* pass physical fitness tests
* no cooking experience necessary, we do all of your training
