*Mission Creek Landing *has been a part of the East Kelowna community for over 45 years. It is nestled in a residential park like setting and is adjacent to the scenic Mission Creek Regional Park. Mission Creek Landing provides a safe home for seniors who can no longer live independently, whether due to physical or cognitive issues.
*We are expanding our Mission Creek Landing location in Kelowna with a newly constructed, state of the art, modern facility, with phase I scheduled to be opened in fall 2024. *This brand new building will replace the much loved current location, surrounded by nature in a quiet residential neighborhood. We have immediate openings for dedicated and passionate Health Care Aides to support our residents in making choices that promote independence, enhance their lives, and enable them to age with dignity.
We have permanent full time, part time and casual shifts available.

*What You Will Do*
* Provide personal care and attention to residents, ensuring that their activities of daily living needs are met, including meals and personal care.
* Observe, report, and record physical or cognitive changes with residents to the LPN or RN.
* Provide input into the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Resident?s Care Plans.
* Assist with transfers of residents using the appropriate equipment such as lifts, wheelchairs, and walkers.
* Encourage and assist residents to participate in social and physical, spiritual, and recreational activities.
* Maintain a clean, safe, homelike environment for residents and staff.
*Your Qualifications ? The Must Have?s*
* You have graduated from a recognized Health Care Aide Program and are registered with the BC Care Aide Registry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
* You have the physical ability and stamina to carry out the duties of the role.
* You have a genuine passion for caring for our residents.
* You must provide a Criminal Record Check for working with vulnerable adults and proof of COVID vaccinations (minimum 2).
