Education: Bachelor's degree. Psychology, other. Social work, other. Work setting: Counselling centres. Private practice. Mental health institution, facility or clinic. Tasks: Diagnose any behaviour disorders. Interview clients, prepare case histories and assess problems. Record observations. Write progress reports . Provide therapy. Counsel individuals and groups to achieve more effective personal, social and vocational development and adjustment. Counsel clients, provide therapy and mediation services, and facilitate group sessions. Maintain accurate records. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Do you have the necessary equipment for remote work (i.e. internet, home office, etc.)?. What is the highest level of study you have completed?. Experience: Experience an asset.
