*Pharmasave West Kelowna is actively looking for a positive and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our great pharmacy team. We are looking for a part-time pharmacist to help once a week and every second saturday* The Pharmacist is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement. The Pharmacist will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies. *Pharmacist Responsibilities:* · Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, vaccinations, MACS) · Initiate care plans, follow up and document · Administer vaccines · Determine appropriateness of drug therapy · Monitor medication adherence · Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information · Communicate well with other healthcare professionals · Recommend OTC products and vitamins · Answer clinical questions from patients *Technical Skills:* · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to critically think and problem solve · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Self-directed and able to work independently · Work well in a team environment *Education and Experience:* · Licensed to practice and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC · Kroll experience is an asset · Injection certification is a asset · Experience with Minor Ailment and Contraception Prescribing Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $59.00-$60.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 ? 20 per week Benefits: * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationWest Kelowna, BC
