As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious, personable individual to join our firm as an Administrative Assistant working with our accounting and tax team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent judgement and discretion in handling confidential information, self-confidence, a positive demeanor, as well as a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the candidate must be flexible, well organized, adept at handling fluctuating workloads and receptive to the needs of extremely busy individuals.
This individual will provide administrative support to the accounting and tax team by performing diversified administrative duties, including:
· Organize and coordinate internal and external communications
· Plan, schedule and coordinate meetings, conference calls and webcasts as needed
· Draft, format and edit letters, memos, reports, professional presentations and spreadsheets, as requested
· Assemble various deliverables and submit to applicable governing agents
·Monitor and report to the team on deadlines and other key metrics
· Prepare meeting minutes
· Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
· Experience working with a Public Accounting Firm as an administrator preferred or
3+ years of experience as an office administrator or legal assistant
· Diploma/certificate in Office Administration or equivalent preferred
· Experience working in an accounting or legal firm would be an asset
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
· Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· High level of commitment to client service
