*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. *Duties* * Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across designated routes. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly for transport. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. * Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and safety. * Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure. * Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed for loading or unloading cargo. *Skills* * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). * Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations. * Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. * Basic automotive repair skills for minor truck maintenance. * Proficiency in operating forklifts or similar machinery is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. * Attention to detail in maintaining logs and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
