\*$1000 Sign on bonus\* \*\*$250.00 upon hire. $750 after 90 day probation period\*\* The Truck & Trailer Mechanic is responsible for the company?s performance in terms of efficient, effective, and timely repairs and maintenance on the Searcy Trucking tractor and trailer fleet. The applicant is expected to be a team player in the Maintenance Department. They must be able to diagnose and repair recurring problems and effectively communicate these to other members of the Maintenance team. Good communication skills and a professional attitude are basic requirements. *Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications* * Must possess a journeyman certificate or equivalent trade knowledge. * Being licensed to preform Manitoba safeties for truck and trailer would be an asset. * Relevant experience working on trucks and trailers * Must have a valid class 5 driver?s license, self-motivated, and strong mechanical aptitude. * Good communication (verbal and written) * Welding experience would be an asset. * Ability to work with minimum supervision to complete deadlines. * Good diagnostic abilities * Proven time management abilities If you or someone you know would like to join the growing Searcy Trucking family, please apply directly by posting your resume.
