Our goal is to deliver tech to enable Purolator to be the premier freight, parcel, and logistics provider in Canada. The PDL is a well-funded startup within Purolator, a progressive and profitable Canadian company.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span>The PDL is developing several systems and services to drive new business for Purolator and our strategic partners. We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team.</span></span></span></p> </div></div><div><div><strong>The Role</strong> </div><div><p> </p> <p><span><span><span>As a Software Developer you will design, write, test, and deploy soft ware. You will be engaged in all aspects of a project's lifecycle, from initial requirements to delivery.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span>You will work with clients within Purolator and beyond. You seek to understand their needs, and actively contribute towards all areas of software, infrastructure, and hardware solutions. You will participate in deploying new systems and take advantage of the many learnings in the pursuit of a successful projects.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><b><span><span><span>This role is hybrid-remote with a team located in Southern Ontario, with a home office in Kitchener, Ontario.</span></span></span></b></p> </div></div><div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span><span>Developing, testing, and delivering code across a range of languages, with a focus on initial quality</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, to ship frequently</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Providing input on architectural & design decisions</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Self-managing your workload in a dynamic environment</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Occasionally travel to visit Purolator facilities in Canada and the USA</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Roll out solutions to the market, including writing great documentation</span></span></span></li> </ul> </div></div><div><div><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span><span>.NET C#, Terraform, and Python for services development</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Flutter/Dart and React/React Native for UI development</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Postgres, cloud data stores, caching (Redis), document databases</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Microsoft Azure DevOps for version control, work assignment, pipelines, and releases</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>Visual Studio Code & other associated I- LocationKitchener, ON
