Executive assistant/executive secretary. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Clinic. Tasks: Clean and maintain equipment. Maintain supplies. Maintain inventory of equipment. Perform general clerical duties. Process files and paperwork. Schedule and confirm appointments. Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments. Order supplies and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Order supplies and maintain inventory. Maintain filing system. Interview patients to obtain case histories. Determine and establish office procedures and routines. Complete insurance and other claim forms. Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review. Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records. Prepare draft agendas for meetings and take, transcribe and distribute minutes. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Windows. MS Word.
