Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Noisy. Hot. Tasks: Load and off-load machines. Notify supervisor or mechanic of equipment malfunctions. Operate and feed a variety of machines. Set up, maintain and make minor repairs to machinery. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Assist machine operators and other textile workers as required. Examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards. Operate a variety of machines to bleach, dye, coat or finish fabric, thread, yarn or other textile products. Shave hides to uniform thickness. Type of yarn and fibre: Cotton. Fabric blends. Synthetic. Equipment and machinery experience: Spooling, winding and twisting equipment. Warping machines.
