Job Description
Start Date: April 2025
Office Administration
* Full time position including every other weekend during the height of the summer season.
The Administrative Assistants primary responsibility is to provide direct support to directors and managers in a fast paced environment with a variety of tasks throughout each day. The main duties include operating all functions of an office, attending to customers both online and in person and executing daily tasks in an organized fashion.
· Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep Marina operating to standard and set a positive example for the team
· Candidates must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks when required and work well within a team
· Candidates must have a good working knowledge of computers and basic systems and will be trained in marina system
· Jobs include but are not limited to answering phone calls and responding to messages, answering electronic inquiries, creating invoices, service invoices, inputting inventory, taking payments, greeting people and directing them to appropriate service stations
· Social Media and Website experience is valued but not required
· Ensure sensitive material is kept secure and handled in an appropriate manner
· Consult and collaborate with others as needed to ensure thorough and effective work productivity and to promote teamwork
· Use appropriate communication methods and actions to establish a courteous and professional working relationship
· Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in health and safety program
· Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required
Mobility: Must be able to climb up and down stairs multiple times a day, get in and out of boats and be able to navigate the docks easily
*Qualifications*
* Excellent organization and time management skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Prior experience in office administration or a related role is preferred
* Ability to learn computer systems quickly and efficiently
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 ? 40 per week
