Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Oilseed (except soybean) farming. Other grain farming. Outdoors. Dusty. Noisy. Odours. All weather conditions. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Weeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Equipment and machinery experience: Automated manure handling or storage system. Bulk handling system. Feeding and watering system. Sprayer or duster. Tractor. Farm truck. Loader. Manure spreader. Planting equipment. Tillage equipment. Skidsteer. Forklift. Hand tools. Agriculture production machineries. Automated systems experience: Bulk grain or feed handling - automated. Manure handling and storage. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
