Our farm market is open year-round, selling fresh produce straight from our fields, as well as quality cheeses, meat and other gourmet foods. We also operate a busy agritourism destination experience, where guests come and visit the farm animals, enjoy the play-land, pick fruits, vegetables and flowers through our Pick-Your-Own experiences. We are a family first & foremost , we would not be anywhere without our passionate farm team, who lives out our core values of, kindness, honour, teamwork, sense of community , growth and a desire for for excellence. *About the Job* In this role, you will engage and connect with our guests by providing an excellent experience when they come through our retail store and cafe. You will be an expert in what we sell and use this expertise to delight and surprise our guests with your knowledge of our store and product. In our Cafe you will captivate our guests with your skill at making our specialty drinks as well as serving our fresh and fabulous baked goods. Finally you will be a great teammate, one that is always willing to lend a hand. *What You'll Do* * Provide the absolute best guest experience through an approachable, energetic and kind manner * Become an expert on our store and cafe and the products we sell * Be courteous and responsive to internal and external requests * Operate the cash register in an efficient manner * Support and assist in front of house requirements and processes as required in the retail store and cafe * Support and assist in back of house requirements and processes as required * Other duties as required such as merchandising, stocking, gathering guest orders etc. *Who You Are* * An excellent communicator with the ability to effectively interact with guests and your team to meet goals * A guest focused service associate who will provide excellent service both in the front and back of house to deliver an exceptional experience to our guests * Passionate about retail and thrives in a fast environment * A problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, always willing to learn and open to feedback taking action as required * Agreeable to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including weekday and weekend shifts * Able to utilize retail technology * Able to manoeuvre around the sales floor, back of house, office and lift up to 40 lbs This is a great opportunity to work with a growing organization in a fun and fast paced environment.
