We are seeking a Learning & Development Global Manufacturing Manager who is a manufacturing technical expert with experience in technical writing and learning development to join our team. This highly visible role is critical in partnering with manufacturing and functional experts to co-create, manage, and maintain comprehensive knowledge documentation and learning programs in support of the Manufacturing L&D strategy. How You'll Help: Collaborate with various subject matter experts to develop and edit technical knowledge documentation and design, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides, ensuring both documentation and knowledge management systems meets their needs.Lead working group sessions in designing curricula framework and identifying learning needs.Lead development of learning programs and assets to upskill employees in the potato manufacturing process, from raw material handling to final product packaging.Capture and codify institutional knowledge as a key input to the design and development of effective learning programs and assets. Provide training and support on the use of documentation and knowledge management systems.Support development of technical onboarding needs for all levels within the plant.Support business loss elimination strategy initiatives through ensuring continuous improvement in learning development and delivery, leveraging the McCain Driving Impact processes as framework.Provides leadership, tactical support, and coaching seamlessly transitioning between each.Oversee a global document repository of all learning materials; manage translations as required. Engage with key stakeholders on a regular frequency to understand needs and risks and assess progress against Key Performance Indicators.Deliver training content as needed, including train the trainer. About You: Bachelor's degree and / or completion of continuing education programs in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5+ years of job experience in related field Experience with rapid eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360).Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and practices.Previous experience designing, developing, and delivering training curriculums within an organization undergoing significant transformational change. Previous experience in production or maintenance in manufacturing plants. Subject Matter Expert in potato manufacturing, with a deep understanding of industry processes and standards is highly desired.Proven experience in technical writing within the food manufacturing industry.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to food manufacturing.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Highly organized, detailed oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging, leading change through influence, and inspiring partners and stakeholders from frontline workers to senior leaders.
