<h3>Job Description</h3><p>The Vanguard School is looking for a Certified Maintenance Worker. Reporting to the Material Resources Services Coordinator, the Certified Maintenance Worker will be responsible for maintenance, repair and alteration work in several building trades. <br /><br /><strong>Tasks</strong></p><ul><li>Perform more or less complex carpentry work (assembly, veneering, gluing, restoration) on surfaces, equipment and furnishings;</li><li>Perform plastering work, repair and install various insulation, covering and waterproofing materials inside and on the roofs of buildings;</li><li>Perform work involving the renovation and repair of works made of brick, stone, ceramic, cement or glass blocks or other materials or substances of the same type:</li><li>Perform certain more or less complex repair work on sanitary installations;</li><li>Perform maintenance work on simple mechanical installations;</li><li>Maintain plumbing and heating systems, ventilation and air conditioning systems, security systems, maintain fire protection systems and electrical systems ;</li><li>Handle, transport, maintain, adjust and set appropriate machinery, tools, equipment and materials;</li><li>Care for preventive and safety maintenance of premises and equipment;</li><li>As needed, perform any other related task.</li></ul><h3>Required profile</h3><ul><li>DEP in general building maintenance or any other combination of training and experience deemed relevant;</li><li>2-3 years of experience in a similar position;</li><li>Good physical condition;</li><li>Good manual skills and dexterity;</li><li>Concern for the quality of work;</li><li>Ability to work alone or in a small team;</li><li>Sense of priorities ;</li><li>Resourcefulness and autonomy to be able to solve certain problems alone.</li></ul><h3>Salary offered</h3><p>$27.92 per hour + 15% prime</p>- LocationSaint-Laurent, QC
