*Role Description*
Our property accounting specialist works directly with a limited group of managers to provide accounting services for a portfolio of condominiums. Providing exceptional forecasts and timely execution of deadline driven reports, this crucial member of the management team will ensure exceptional service to our partnered condominiums. This member will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer to ensure deliverables are achieved in this quickly growing company.
* 1-2 in-office days, 3-4 days fully remote.
* Oversee the daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records of all financial activities. Fully cycle accounting for a portfolio properties.
* Manage the accounts payable processes.
* Process invoices, prepare payments, and ensure timely collection.
* Record and reconcile financial data in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
* Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up to date financial information.
* Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during reconciliation.
* Prepare monthly financial statements.
* Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets.
* Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
* Implement best practices to streamline financial processes.
* Collaborate with other members of the team to achieve departmental goals.
*Compensation*
$70,000 annually, full-time, permanent salary position
3 weeks? paid vacation (increases to 4 after one year)
5 paid sick days, 3 paid personal days
3 flex-days for mental health and unexpected occurrences
Full benefits after 3 month probation
*Qualifications*
· 3+ years of proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
* Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
* Proficiency in Sage50 accounting software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
* Experience in condominium accounting
This position is expected to start between December 1-January 1st, 2025 with flexibility for qualified candidates.
