Dave?s Heating and Cooling is a family owned and operated HVAC company in North
Bay, ON.
We are looking for a full-time Manager for service to handle a our service technicians and busy office with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in this busy heating and air conditioning business.. A large role will be answering the phones, electronic mailings, and booking appointments for service repairs and maintenance requests. You will also making outbound calls to our existing customers to book annual clean and services. Further duties will include data entry, maintaining records, and filing electronically and manually. We are looking for a candidate who has Manager experience and office administration experience, who is confident and comfortable on the phone. Someone who is a career-oriented person able to handle multiple responsibilities. Working knowledge of HVAC systems and/or having experience with social media marketing is helpful but not required. Bilingualism (French) is an asset but not mandatory.
*Duties:*
· Must be able to handle multiple phone lines and transfer calls to appropriate location.
· Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
· Outgoing, quick-learner, professional, reliable, self-sufficient, and ambitious.
· Handle customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
· Delegating and directing service technicians, monitoring the progress of the current projects, and managing the service team members to ensure the team?s objectives and goals are met.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
· Accepting payments and making sure service technicians are collecting payments as well.
· Schedule & create work orders for preventive maintenance, service repairs & replacements.
· Dispatch technicians to emergency service calls.
· Coordinate with installation department to ensure compliance with established policies
· Strong creative thinking and problem solving.
· Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication.
· Computer skills, database management, social media skills, MS office
· Day-to-day office tasks
· Able to coordinate on-call rotation for nights and weekends for the HVAC technicians.
· Provide estimated costs for repairs when requested by the customer.
· Able to work Monday through 8 hours per day approximately 40 hours per week.
· Completing warranty claims and following up to ensure payment.
· Preparing and submitting work orders, quotes and invoices
