Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Direct farm grooming activities . Negotiate with clients for provision of services. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Hire and train staff. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 3-4 people. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Area of specialization: Agricultural livestock service. Agricultural crop service. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Organized. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
