The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Temporary Primary Teacher . This position will commence as soon as possible and continue until January 31, 2025 or the return of the incumbent. The initial assignment will include teaching in multi-graded primary classroom on a Hutterite Colony.<p>Cleardale is a small farming community in northern Alberta located about 170 kms west of Peace River. Cleardale Colony School serves students from grades 1 to 9. Division housing may be available for school staff.<p>Qualifications : <p><p> Experience and/or knowledge of multi-graded classroom instruction<p> Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure student success<p> Proven ability to differentiate lessons and assessment to support students? achievement<p><p>Additional Skills : <p><p> Strong classroom management skills<p> Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents<p> Ability to contribute to a positive, safe and caring learning environment<p> An understanding of Hutterian community and culture<p><p><p><p>Requirements: <p><p> Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate<p> Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check <p><p>Please note, record check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application.<p><p> <p>This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is secured.
