Flexibility of the successful applicant?s personal schedule is required to ensure staff and area needs are met. *As part of our dynamic team, the Program Director will:* * Direct the educational program for children in our program from 12 months to 5 years. * Lead tours with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference in our facility, program quality, and Montessori curriculum. * Prepare parent connection materials for distribution and ensure that student lesson plans are meeting specific student development needs. * Re-evaluate student needs periodically to adjust the lesson plans and their application to individual students. * Interview potential employees and hiring qualified candidates to teach in our program to ensure that our curriculum is being delivered effectively. * Maximize centre capacity by handling tours, registrations, waitlist management , and timely space filling. * Plan and implement enriched programs in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy. * Achieve excellence in developmentally appropriate program delivery, including implementation of our Tender Lillies Montessori curriculum. * Communicate openly with families on a daily basis about their child?s learning and growth and development and encourage families to share information. * Convert prospective families to actual clients through effectively communicating the value our program delivers as it helps the children in our care to grow and develop. *Requirements* * Post-secondary diploma/degree in Early Childhood Education * Early Childhood Educator ? Level 3 Certification issued by the Government of Alberta * Minimum 3 years supervisory and leadership experience within a licensed childcare centre managing a team and daily operations * Montessori diploma required * Experience working with children aged 12 months ? 5 years, utilizing an inclusive and Montessori-based learning curriculum * Clear communicator with excellent verbal and written skills * Intermediate computer literacy and competency * Current Intermediate (Standard) First Aid and CPR C certification (CPR recertified within the last 12 months) * Evidence of a clear Police Information Check including a Vulnerable Sector Search Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site childcare * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Tuition reimbursement * Vision care Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Education: * DCS / DEC (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-11-30- LocationCalgary, AB
