Bar Vita is seeking a sous chef to join our team!
3-5 shifts per week (Tuesday to Saturday)
*Responsibilities:*
* Cooking on the line, and various prep-duties
* Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours
* Ensure the high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas
* Help in the preparation and design of all food menus
* Monitor kitchen and service equipment serviceability and efficiency
*Qualities & Requirements*
* Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
* Familiar with industry?s best practices is preferred; however we are willing to train the right candidate
* Red Seal Certified will be an asset
* Food handlers certification
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Additional pay:
* Bonus pay

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Holidays
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
