Zone: Labrador Grenfell Zone Location: Labrador West Health Centre Registered Nurse I Labrador Grenfell Zone - LWC COMBINED OR/RR Permanent Full-time 56443FLT Hours 75 (Shift Work; Days, Nights, Weekends) Salary NS-28 of the RNUNL Salary Scales $38.62 to $48.10 per hour, plus applicable Labrador AllowanceCompetition Number VAC0001617 Posted Date 2024-10-08 Closing Date Open until filled Demands, duties, qualifications Qualifications: Graduation from an approved/recognized school of nursing program is required;Current and continuing practicing licensure with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CRNNL) is required;Breastfeeding education/course;NRP, ACLS and TNCC and Medivac courses are considered an asset;Current certification in Basic Life Support (CPR);The successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct. Duties: (Included but not limited to) Organizing, planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care for assigned clients including but not limited to: medical-surgical, obstetrics (pre-natal, labour and delivery, post-partum), long term care, special care, mental health/addictions and pediatrics;Participates in the auditing process as required;Documents as per professional and organizational standards;Administers medication and participates in Medication Reconciliation;Participates in the orientation, mentorship and perceptoring of staff;Represents nursing on various committees as required;Participates in quality assurance initiatives as requested/required;Practice independently according to professional and organizational standards;Acts as a liaison between the client and other healthcare providers;Other related duties as required.- LocationLabrador City, NL
